  1. Please note that any registration to the auction will be considered as full acceptance of the Terms & Conditions of the Dar Tal-Providenza Fine Arts Auctions listed below.
  1. Dar Tal-Providenza is an NGO and the Fine Arts Auction is a non-profit fund-raising event. As such, any information on the items on auction are given for the buyer to make an informed purchase. However, such information has been given to Dar Tal-Providenza on the donation of the item, and cannot be held responsible for any of the information given on the website, its catalogues or during the auction itself. The content of the pages of this website is for general information only. It can be subject to change without notice. Neither Dar Tal-Providenza, nor any third parties providing support to its Fine Arts Auction, can provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website or during its auction, for any purpose. As such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and Dar Tal-Providenza expressly excludes liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. If the bidders want further information it is strongly advised to seek and obtain independent and professional advice on any interested item, on their state and their value before bidding is done. Any use of any information or materials on this website, catalogues or during the auction is entirely at bidders own risk, for which Dar Tal-Providenza shall not be liable.
  1. Dar Tal-Providenza has complete discretion as to whether the sale proceeds, whether any lot is included in the website is for sale and the manner in which the sale or auction is conducted. Furthermore, Dar Tal-Providenza reserves the right to refuse any bid, to nominate any bidding increment its auctioneer considers appropriate, to divide any items forming a lot, to combine two or more items or lots into one or different lots, and in the case of dispute, to put up any lot for auction again.
  1. Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence. This website may also include links to other websites that are managed by Dar Tal-Providenza, other similar organisations linked to this auction or/and Dar Tal-Providenza. These links are provided for convenience to provide further information and allow bidders and users to get more information or make donations to Dar Tal-Providenza. However, Dar tal-Providenza cannot take any responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
  1. All bidders must, including those who want to bid by phone or by making a proxy bid, must, prior to the auction, complete a registration form, insert and/or show means of identification (such as an identity card) to the Dar Tal-Providenza auctioneering team or their representatives.
  1. Dar Tal-Providenza has appointed as Auctioneer for the Dar Tal-Providenza Fine Arts Auction 2018, Mr Pierre Grech Pillow, of Obelisk Auctions. Thus, any buyer will be the winning bidder if they make the highest bid acceptable to the auctioneer for any item (subject to any applicable reserve being met) and will be assigned for sale to whom the item is knocked down by the auctioneer at the striking of the auctioneer’s hammer. Any dispute as to the higher acceptable bid will be settled by the auctioneer at his absolute discretion.
  1. Each item will be sold as is, and as viewed by the buyer. Buyers shall provide their name, address, identity card number and pay the total hammer price at which the item was purchased prior to taking possession of the item won. Only bank drafts, cheques and cash are acceptable.
  1. No item can be claimed or removed until it has been paid for in full and the sale has been concluded. All purchases shall be removed at the buyer’s risk, if not paid on the day of the auction and exhibited at Dar Tal-Providenza, the day after the auction. Thus Dar Tal-Providenza cannot take any responsibility if the item/s are lost, stolen or damaged.
  2. Buyers shall pay the hammer price and this being a fund raising activity, no further additional expenses will be incurred. However, if transportation, delivery or packaging expenses are incurred by Dar Tal-Providenza to store or deliver any item, these will be charged to the buyer.
  1. Buyers will take possession of items won as they are and Dar Tal-Providenza nor its officers or volunteers, or the auctioneer, cannot give any warranty on the item sold, nor do they have the authority to alter, vary or qualify in any way these conditions of business.
  1. Buyers give the Dar Tal-Providenza all rights to use and publish any photographs and images of items sold or attendees attending the auction at any time and their absolute discretion. As the auction is being done in 3rdparty premises, Dar Tal-Providenza cannot be held responsible to life and limb on the premises during viewing, or during and after the auction.
